The Q/A have been tentatively ordered according to four themes: POETS, WORDS / POETRY, ORIGINS, MISCELLANEOUS.

Yes, they can be named later. They will be named later in fact, as, you won’t be able to feed them pages during the Poet minting phase, “The Reveal” — those 2 weeks.

Sure, “name change” is an attribute of the token, but you don’t have to use it.
You can sell your poet with 3 “name changes” stacked on it, for instance.

Yes, they have a complex set of rarities, many attributes, and they will be revealed over time.
So, you can either wait for your poets full potential to reveal, or flip :clown: before you learn about how rare it is.

All of the attributes will be on chain once 365 days are complete. To keep specific details of the game hidden, they will be hosted during the game. They will still be part of the token and be acessible through OpenSea or such. (token uri)

When your poets are revealed, you will only be able to see a tiny fraction of attributes.
Over time, more attributes will be revealed, and who knows, maybe that “common” one will be “ultra rare”

But since they are not 1155s any more (721s) you still have to pay the gas fee per token
so 10 poets are 10x more expensive to exchange than 1.

It’s very similar to the fridge magnets (words) — where you will have words, and you will be able to reorder them for meaning.

Oh a beautiful question, and an important one too.
When you name your poet, you are changing the Title of your ERC721 — and when you write a poem you are changing the Description field of your ERC721
So in the end, everything is part of the token permanently

For sure.
I was simply showcasing you 2 attributes in that image. “Origin” and “Latent” — and just like that, every Poet has many many attributes, and those attributes have rarities.
So even though Origin and Latent looks like the most “mathematically balanced” of all attributes, it will still carry rarity because not all poets (therefore origins/latents) will be minted.
As a result, I know how rarity in this collection works, but I don’t know what the rarest token is.
Because it’s not in my control.

So let’s assume your poet has latent: ABCD and origin: EFGH (Position attributes for your poet, like every other poet.)
When the owner of Origin #EFGH renames the origin to Jack for instance, then your poet attributes (and every other Poet that carries the same origin) changes.
In this case, your poet’s Position attributes become latent: ABCD and origin: Jack — because you come from the same bloodline

No, origins do not need pages to change name or write poetry. But there is a twist.
An Origin can only be named once.

Yes, in a way, that’s how it works. Because every poet is a ticket to the next origin drop.

As they have an initial name, it’s technically a “rename” — but can only be done once, for an Origin Poet

Sure, they all have a specific class of attributes. “Position” class
So, your poet will tell you which origin it comes from, because your poet will have an “origin” and a “latent”
So, that “Origin” is actually an “Origin Poet” as well as the Origin attribute of this specific poet.
So when that Origin Poet changes it’s name from “CPU4” to “Marie” — this poet will carry the new name, as, this one is coming from the same roots.

my understanding is an origin can only go to one of the (up to) 64 poets that came from it; so any given poet can only receive a max of one origin as they only came from one origin

Correct, an origin can only be dropped to the poets that have the same origin.
So some poets will have more luck then others, because, some poets won’t be minted at all.

Depends on what kind of a collector you are. Some play the game of rarity, some others play the game of aesthetics. This is more of a sandbox with possibilities, that will let you create strategy based on your incentives.

This is a foundation we can build on. As many of you here experienced, this server is made around 2 days ago, together, with whoever is here — that same state of mind should continue for the collection as well.
